Le Logis in Chenaud
Located in the quiet part of the Dordogne, on the outskirts of the historic village of Chenaud, lies this centuries-old domain (2.6 Ha). The estate (originally a large hunting lodge) is surrounded by beautiful walled gardens with centuries-old trees, a bamboo forest and an orchard with different fruit species.
This from the XI century dating domain, consists of four separate houses of which the oldest goes back to 1626, a large barn with tower (87 m²), a hangar (57 m²) a separate Pigeonnier (pigeon tower), a wine cellar and an old (still working) well. A terrace on the waterfront (4 x 7) partly above the water, completes the whole.
Le Logis was fully renovated in 2006, with love and attention to detail, reusing old materials as much as possible. The luxury domain is completely adapted to the contemporary life, take for example central water softening system, electricity- and drainage- installation, satellite dish, new sceptic tank, Wi-Fi, central vacum cleaning system, designer kitchens with all the necessary equipment, central heating and underfloor heating.
The location of the village of Chenaud is ideal; quiet but still in close to well-known places such as the world-famous Saint Emilion (40 km), Angoulème (45 Km) and Bordeaux (85 km). Chenaud is within easy reach, both by plane, train or car. The daily shopping can be done in the village (500 m).
The location of the domain provides much privacy. The very luxurious, separated, Gites (La Mazilière, La Dronne and La Grange) are to be let from 2 to 14 persons and are therefore very suitable for large groups.
La Mazilière (214 m²) suitable for 8 persons

This fall the Orangerie was completed. This area used to be an old neglected swimming pool, but has had a radical transformation into a beautiful multi-functional area with all modern comfort.
